Fresno's Díaz Will Miss Season
The doctors have spoken and <Luis Díaz:player#11209> of the <Fresno Grizzlies:team#103> didn't like what he heard. The 28-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Díaz sustained his season-ending injury during the <Wilmington Eagles:team#24> game yesterday at Grizzles Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the <Fresno:team#103> medical staff reported <Díaz:player#11209> had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 11 months.
