Zero Hour: Cook Blanks Mallards

Cook said in the clubhouse afterward, "I just had a feeling it was going to be my day. My control was awesome. I could throw my curveball even when I was behind in the count."

The <Colorado:team#2> starter held <California:team#5> scoreless, giving up 4 hits while registering 5 strikeouts and issuing 2 walks.

"We didn't have very many good at-bats," the Mallards manager said in his postgame interview.

"When that happens, you usually lose."
