Warhawks Prevail, 7-5, Over Pennsylvania
The <Illinois Warhawks:team#74> weathered an outstanding game by <Pennsylvania:team#4> catcher <Raúl Cortéz:player#7268> to topple the Railroaders, 7-5. Cortéz was 1-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3.   <Joel Ryan:player#2136> notched his 25th save in 28 chances. The Warhawks go to 60-92 with the win.

In the bottom of the sixth, Illinois right fielder <Jon Moore:player#6244> had a productive at-bat. With  the bases loaded and two out, Moore stroked a 2-run  single to right. It made the score 6-4, Illinois. For the game, he went 2 for 5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Warhawks manager <Paul Nicholls:manager#44>. "This one was nice to get."
