Warhawks Upend Mallards, 9-6
<Illinois:team#74> and <Minnesota:team#5> duked it out and the Warhawks came out victorious.

With catcher <Dan Byrd:player#7124> leading the charge, the <Illinois Warhawks:team#74> defeated the <Minnesota Mallards:team#5>, 9-6, at Dylan Park at Hennepin. Byrd, who is tied for 10th in the FL in doubles with 38, was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The winner was <Max O'Neil:player#10160>, who threw 107 pitches over 5.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 8 hits.

Illinois took a 8-4 lead on Byrd's 6th home run of the season. The 3-run  home run, which he hit off <Juan Rodríguez:player#1875> in the top of the seventh, propelled Illinois to the win.

"It feels good to get this one," Byrd told the Illinois Citizen.

The victory puts Illinois at 59-91.
