It's Official: López Will Retire
<Juan López:player#4578> said he would rather walk away from the game than be forced out of it.

At 36 years of age, the <Brooklyn Dodgers:team#19> reliever today announced that this season will be his last.

"I'm happy to get out with my health still intact and at a young enough age where I can look forward to the rest of my life," López said. 

Up to now in his career <López:player#4578> has compiled a 35-46 mark in 141 games with 485 strikeouts and 348 walks in 674.1 innings. He has been credited with 3 saves and has a 4.71 ERA.
