Steelheads Stay Hot, Beat Warhawks, 6-5
The <Illinois Warhawks:team#74> got a superb performance from first baseman <Chris Green:player#2867>. Still, it wasn't enough to beat <Idaho:team#92>. The Steelheads won the game, 6-5. Green went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. <Sergio Carrasco:player#7995> got the save, his 26th in 28 chances. The third-place Steelheads have won 5 in a row.

<Ron White:player#7286> dealt the Warhawks a blow in the top of the fourth. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Idaho leading 5-2, White, the first overall pick in the 2052 draft, hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single.

"We're our own worst enemy right now," said <Illinois:team#74> skipper <Paul Nicholls:manager#44>.
