Rigsby Stars for Warhawks in 8-2 Win

<Illinois:team#74> first baseman <Eric Rigsby:player#4954> contributed to his team's 8-2 win over the <Oregon Explorers:team#75>. Rigsby, the 5th overall pick in the 2042 draft, went 3 for 4 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Warhawks. The winning pitcher was <Jesús García:player#8107>. He's now 6-8. He went 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits for the Warhawks.

The Warhawks benefited from an error in the top of the sixth inning. Illinois was leading 2-1 when <Xing-peng Hsi:player#2401> hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Illinois in front, 3-1.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Rigsby told the Illinois Citizen.
