Lumberjacks Reliever Cops Pitching Award
Sometimes relievers are treated like second class citizens, most of the time the award goes to the starters, but not this month. A reliever, <Tommy Rogers:player#5744>, has been named the Pitcher of the Month in the West.

In August, the <Grand Junction:team#45> relief specialist stood out with 7 saves in 10 relief appearances, a 1-1 won-lost mark and 0.69 ERA. He worked 13 innings, allowed 5 hits, struck out 12 and walked 5.

This season <Rogers:player#5744> has made 52 relief appearances, saving 31. His record is 8-6 with 59 strikeouts in 56.1 innings and a 3.51 ERA.
