Land on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Nampa
It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for <Mike Land:player#7095>, it came around today. 

The 23-year-old center fielder scattered hits all over Stampeders Ballpark to pace the <Savannah Storm:team#108> to a 12-4 victory over the <Nampa Stampeders:team#100>. 

<Nampa:team#100> skipper   told reporters in the press room that "Land deserves a hat-tip."

"He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Land hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." 

<Mike Land:player#7095> singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 8th and singled in the 9th.

This season <Land:player#7095> is batting .311 with 121 hits, 7 home runs, 50 RBIs, .380 OBP and has scored 64 runs.
