Jim Robinson Calls it a Career

At age 36, the native of Jackson, Mississippi has announced he will retire from professional baseball.

"I want to thank all my teammates, the fans, and the <New Jersey Athletics:team#80> organization, but this is it for me," he said. "I've got a lovely family at home I can't wait to spend more time with."

<Robinson:player#7959> has collected 31 wins and 59 losses over his career with a 5.70 ERA. The 36-year-old hurler also has struck out 396 batters in 782 innings and allowed 936 hits.
