Matsuda Spins No-Hitter
<Kissimmee Rage:team#65> starter <Jiro Matsuda:player#10392> came up big today at Lakeland Grounds with an exceptional 14-0 outing against the <Redington Beach Panic:team#63>. Not only did he whip them, but Matsuda held them hitless, too.

"My arm was a bit sore in warmups," confessed Matsuda. "Sometimes you go out there and you're not feeling all that hot. You get into the game and all of a sudden in the seventh inning you look up and see the scoreboard and think to yourself, 'Oh, my goodness, I have a no-hitter!' You're so focused on what you're doing, it just happens."

In the course of the no-hitter, Matsuda collected 12 strikeouts and surrendered 1 walk -- a day good enough to get his name in the history books.

This year <Matsuda:player#10392> has a 6-6 record with a 4.83 ERA in 17 starts.
