Carlos Kennedy Injured, Out for Year
<Carlos Kennedy:player#7299> will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the <Alabama:team#3> reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Kennedy was injured while throwing a pitch in the Yellowhammers-Knights clash at Huntington Park recently. Doctors said he has a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 12 months.

So far this year <Kennedy:player#7299> has been credited with no saves, registered a 3.24 ERA and struck out 43 in 50 innings. He also has a 3-3 record.
