Missiles Prevail, as College League Championship Series Goes to the Wire
The fans in El Paso College are delirious, while there is little joy to be found in Omaha College.

The <El Paso College Missiles:team#115> finished off the <Omaha College Canaries:team#111> 4-1 in the deciding game of the College League Championship Series played at Ballpark of El Paso College.

They took the series 4-3 and will now head to the College Cup.

For his standout play, El Paso College second baseman <Hiromitsu Hashimoto:player#10351> was voted the series' Most Valuable Player.

He batted .348, drove in 2 runs and scored 6 to lead his club to victory.

"We could never really figure out how to pitch to Hashimoto and that doomed us," said Canaries manager  . "Hats off to El Paso College, though. That was a great series."

The <El Paso College Missiles:team#115> will play against the <Laval College Rockies:team#126> in the next round. Laval College won their series against the <Santa Ana College Steelhawks:team#128> 4 games to 3. The College Cup schedule will be announced after the College League Championship Series finishes.
