Quebec City HS Takes High School LCS in Deciding Game
The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat were on full display tonight at Offenders Ballpark as the High School LCS stretched to the final game.

It was the <Quebec City HS Nordiques:team#165> feeling the thrill of victory, with a 6-3 win over the <Lackland AFB HS Bombers:team#140>, who were feeling the devastation of coming up short in their quest to make the High School Cup.

"There's no way around it -- this sucks," said Lackland AFB HS manager  . "Congratulations to Quebec City HS, but I won't sugarcoat it, no one is happy about anything that transpired here tonight."

Instrumental in the 4-3 series win was first baseman <Florian Dupont:player#8636>, who was named MVP. He hit .304 with a .484 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 4 runs.

"We've got the most important stat of all and that's this final win -- that's the one that matters," he said.

The <Quebec City HS Nordiques:team#165> will play against the <Houston HS Hornets:team#155> in the next round. Houston HS won their series against the <Wasco HS War Lords:team#151> 4 games to 1. The High School Cup schedule will be announced after the High School LCS finishes.
