Stars End Sanu's Streak
<Trenton:team#34> left fielder <Hirokumi Sanu:player#10994> came into today's game against the <Philadelphia Stars:team#39> on a hot streak. He left on a cold one.

The Stars did their jobs well, beating the <Trenton Owls:team#34> 16-7 and holding Sanu hitless to snap his 28-game hitting streak. The 25-year-old left fielder had a few words to say after finishing 0-for-3, telling reporters only that he "came up short."

"What <Hirokumi:player#10994> did was exciting and quite an achievement," said Owls manager  . "It's tough enough to get one hit in this league, much less go 28 games in a row. I'm even more proud of the way he handled the press coverage. He never let the frenzy get to him or affect his play."

Currently <Sanu:player#10994> is batting .407 with 50 hits and 7 home runs. He has knocked in 27 runs and scored 20 times.
