Four-bagger Feast: Sawyer Slugs 3 for Wilkes-Barre Township College
<Wilkes-Barre Township College Villians:team#122> second baseman <Alvin Sawyer:player#452> put on a dazzling display of power today at Arlington College Grounds against the <Arlington College Hurricanes:team#125>. In the 7-5 Villians victory <Sawyer:player#452> penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts.

"He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter," <Arlington College:team#125> manager   said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well."

Along with his three home runs, the 19-year-old had 4 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. 

"Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off," Sawyer said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today."

In 53 games Sawyer is hitting .196 this season with 33 hits, 10 home runs, 15 RBIs, 34 walks, .338 OBP and has scored 33 runs.
