Ayala Belts 5 Hits
<Albuquerque:team#27> catcher <António Ayala:player#9879> went down swinging  at Crabpots Field today, knocking out 5 hits even as his Scorpion Kings fell, 7-6.

"It was like I was hitting Little League pitching," Ayala said after his 5-for-5 performance against the <Ocean City Crabpots:team#25>. "No offense meant to Ocean City, but it was like I was back in little league again -- I could see the ball that well."

After the game, his manager elaborated on the catcher's improvements, saying <Ayala:player#9879> spent the offseason trying to shorten his swing and stay inside the ball.

"That's what I'm trying to do," <Ayala:player#9879> agreed. "Be quick to the ball and let it travel a little farther so I get a better look at it."
