South Carolina's Young Sidelined for Season
The doctors have spoken and <Steve Young:player#11084> of the <South Carolina Jackrabbits:team#181> didn't like what he heard. The 24-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Young sustained his season-ending injury during the <Michigan Cockatoos:team#183> game yesterday at Spring Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the <South Carolina:team#181> medical staff reported <Young:player#11084> had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 9 months.
