30 Games in a Row for Whitehead
The Crawfords proved to be mere mortals today as they lost to the Destroyers 13-8, but <Dave Whitehead:player#120> continued his god-like hitting as he collected 1 hit and ran his hitting streak to 30 games.

When asked about his torrid-hitting right fielder, the <Pittsburgh:team#23> skipper said, "Whitehead is playing great and is on fire now. Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins."

Whitehead was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said, "We lost the game. Nothing else really matters."
<Dave Whitehead:player#120> walked in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.

This year <Whitehead:player#120> is hitting .353, produced 47 RBIs and 14 home runs, scored 34 times and gotten on base at a .429 rate.
