New York Moves on to League Championship Series
The <New York Twin Towers:team#78> clubhouse was doused in champagne tonight at Lowe's Field at Bojangles' Stadium, after the team wrapped up the Wildcard Series.

New York downed the <North Carolina Aviators:team#8> 5-0 to win the series 4-1.

"There's no champagne if you lose, so it's a sweet thing to taste," said catcher <Oscar Black:player#7474>, who was named series MVP.

For the series, Black hit .591 with a .609 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 10 runs.

While they may not get the sweet taste of champagne this year, the Aviators will no doubt be drowning their sorrows tonight.

"It's never easy to lose a playoff series and I don't think there's a single guy in our room who is going to be able to easily accept that our season is now over," said North Carolina manager .

The League Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
