Athletics Lose to Warhawks, 5-3
The <New Jersey Athletics:team#80> got a superb performance from center fielder <Josh Bradshaw:player#6363>. Still, it wasn't enough to beat <Illinois:team#74>. The Warhawks won the game, 5-3. In spite of the loss, Bradshaw was named the player of the game. He went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double,  and a walk. He scored 2 runs. <Max O'Neil:player#10160> was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 8 strikeouts. <Norogumi Ueno:player#8014> was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 37 of 39 save opportunities.

Having an impact for Illinois was <Ron Schneider:player#9082>. In the top of the fourth inning, the 26-year old center fielder  had a 2-run  single to make the score 4-2, Warhawks.

Schneider called the win the result of "everyone being in sync." 

At 64-92, Illinois is in 4th place in the Frontier League East.
