Railroaders Get Road Win, 8-7
The <Pennsylvania Railroaders:team#4> defeated the <Illinois Warhawks:team#74>, 8-7, in Patriot League action at Todd Berry Memorial Field. <Dan Bertrand:player#9325> received player of the game honors. The 9-year veteran was 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Pennsylvania reliever <Tony Jackson:player#4992> picked up the win, bumping his record to 4-1. <José Vásquez:player#9911> was collared with the loss. <Mike Gómez:player#4656> was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 38 of 43 save opportunities.

Pennsylvania took the lead in the top of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 2nd, <Bubba Pelan:player#3203> stroked a run-scoring  double to make it 8-7, Railroaders.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Bertrand.

Pennsylvania is now 61-90, Illinois 62-89.
