Warhawks Nip Resonance, 1-0

Ortega got the win, improving to 10-14. He allowed 5 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. Ortega allowed no earned runs. <Norogumi Ueno:player#8014> got the save, his 35th in 37 chances.

<Xing-peng Hsi:player#2401> came through for Illinois when he hit a solo home run in the top of the second. With the bases empty, he hit a 1-2 fastball to left-center field, staking his team to a 1-0 lead.
