Blue Pirates Pull Even With 8-2 Victory
It was a good time at Farmers Market Stadium, where fans came to watch the <New York Twin Towers:team#78> and <Ontario Blue Pirates:team#77> get after it.

The <Ontario Blue Pirates:team#77> grabbed a 8-2 win over the <New York Twin Towers:team#78> at Farmers Market Stadium. Ontario third baseman <Juan Galló:player#4777> went 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, a walk,  and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 to earn player of the game honors. <Zach Stone:player#8439> earned the win to go to 5-3. He allowed 1 earned run on 4 hits, with no walks and 3 strikeouts. 

Also making an impact was second baseman <Jorge Martínez:player#1457>, who drilled a 3-run  home run in the bottom of the second inning for the Blue Pirates. For the game, Martínez was 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Martínez told reporters after the game.

The Blue Pirates bumped their record to 69-69 with this latest triumph.
