Steelheads Stun Blue Pirates, 4-1
<Idaho:team#92> and <Ontario:team#77> duked it out at Farmers Market Stadium and the Steelheads came out victorious.

<Ontario:team#77> got a terrific performance from pitcher <Cristo Mota:player#7028>, but it wasn't enough to beat the <Idaho Steelheads:team#92>. Idaho won the Farmers Market Stadium contest, 4-1. Mota was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball. The winner was <Tony Lara:player#4615> in relief. His record improves to 2-4. <Dan Thompson:player#4179> took the loss. <Pete Bridges:player#6588> converted his 2nd save in 2 tries.

The Steelheads got an important contribution from catcher <Wilson Hernández:player#5174>, who in the top of the eighth punched a 2-1 fastball into center for a run-scoring  single. It was his 15th hit of the season and put the Steelheads ahead, 2-1.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Hernández, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."

Idaho is now 61-73, while Ontario is 66-68.
