Warhawks Subdue Colorado, 4-3
The <Illinois Warhawks:team#74> trumped the <Colorado Bears:team#2>, 4-3, at Todd Berry Memorial Field. Illinois first baseman <Eric Rigsby:player#4954> was named player of the game for his performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. <Marv Potts:player#3754> converted his 1st save in 4 tries. With the win, the Warhawks improved to 56-74.

Rigsby had a key at-bat for Illinois early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run  home run. It was his 42nd home run of the season and gave Illinois an early 2-0 lead.

<Colorado:team#2> manager   said he was "mildly disappointed"  with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
