Aviators Score Late, Top Blue Pirates, 3-2
<North Carolina:team#8> beat <Ontario:team#77> at Lowe's Field at Bojangles' Stadium, eking out a 3-2 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher <Odwin Reijssen:player#7337>, who earned player of the game honors. North Carolina leads the Patriot League South by 6½ games.

The Blue Pirates had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Aviators going into the bottom of the ninth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old second baseman <Liam Coggins:player#11373> came to the plate. Coggins hit a solo home run on a 1-1 sinker from Ontario hurler <Jon Morgan:player#4558>. It was Coggins's 1st home run of the year.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," <Ontario:team#77> manager said following the tough loss.
