Explorers Get Road Win, 5-3
The <Oregon Explorers:team#75> overcame a good performance by <Illinois:team#74> first baseman <Eric Rigsby:player#4954> to knock off <Illinois:team#74>, 5-3, at Todd Berry Memorial Field. Rigsby went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. <Chris Trainor:player#9463> got the save, his 4th in 5 chances. Even with the win, the Explorers have a dismal 38-71 record.

The result might have been different for Oregon, had it not been for <Orlando Peña:player#10881>. The shortstop produced a 2-run  double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Explorers ahead, 5-0. For the game, <Peña:player#10881> had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Oregon manager <John Yuda:manager#7>. "It's usually not just one thing."
