Harris and Mercado Suspended for Free-for-All
<Ken Harris:player#7638> of the <Hartford Yard Goats:team#50> and <Luis Mercado:player#11964> of the <Toledo Ducks:team#51> will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 8 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Yard Goats-Ducks game at Dunkin' Donuts Park.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN <Harris:player#7638> and <Mercado:player#11964> will begin serving them soon.

<Harris:player#7638> is presently hitting at a .253 pace with 16 home runs and 52 RBIs. He has played in 111 games and scored 53 times. 

So far this year <Mercado:player#11964> has made 23 starts, tossed 127.1 innings, struck out 101 batters and walked 66. His record is 9-4 with a 3.96 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .257 batting average.
