Menlo Park's Espinoza Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits
<Menlo Park:team#104> first baseman <Jesús Espinoza:player#5178> had a big day at Duluth Park today against the <Duluth Knights:team#26>. The 27-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led the Marauders to a 17-5 triumph over Duluth.

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Espinoza said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

<Jesús Espinoza:player#5178> hit a three-run home run off <Walt Stewart:player#7262> in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
