Young Star Helps Propel East to Win in Midseason Classic
All-Star Punta Gorda Bulldogs' first baseman <Chris Walters:player#6648> had a night to remember.

Not only did he take the field with the game's best players, he was also a huge factor in the 8-3 <East:team#88> victory over the <West:team#87> All-Stars.

"We had a meeting before the game, and I was struck by the talent in the room. Old stars, young stars, it's a game I'll never forget," Walters said after the game. "I talked to a few of my old friends from Framingham, Massachusetts before the game, and they told me to go out and win the game for them. I'm sure they'll enjoy seeing the trophy back home," he added.

<Walters:player#6648> has a career .309 batting average and .406 on-base percentage. He has recorded 166 hits with 30 doubles, 2 triples, 25 homers, 104 RBIs and scored 89 runs since coming into the league.
