Gandler Batters Colorado Big Time
It was a good day at Todd Berry Memorial Field. The <Illinois Warhawks:team#74> whipped the <Colorado Bears:team#2> 8-7 and right fielder <Guenther Gandler:player#6100> showed off a hot bat, going  5-for-5 at the plate. 

"Some days, lady luck is on your side," Gandler told BNN reporters after the game. 

Warhawks manager Paul Nicholls told the beat writers otherwise, calling the 26-year-old "focused and patient."

"It's not luck," he said. "He has a solid approach to hitting. <Guenther:player#6100> hits to all fields. The more solid at-bats you put together, the more success you're going to have." 

<Guenther Gandler:player#6100> doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.

Looking at his present stats, <Gandler:player#6100> has compiled a .352 batting average in 42 games with a .392 on-base percentage, while hitting 1 home run and driving in 13 runs.
