Steelheads Sneak Past Warhawks, 5-4
<Illinois:team#74> got a terrific performance from pitcher <Jesús Ortega:player#6583>, but it wasn't enough to beat the <Idaho Steelheads:team#92>. Idaho won the Todd Berry Memorial Field contest, 5-4. Ortega was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball. Reliever <Sergio Carrasco:player#7995> picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. <Norogumi Ueno:player#8014> took the loss. Idaho has a 3-game win streak, while Illinois has lost 3 in a row.

<Frank López:player#10001>, the Idaho right fielder, contributed a run-scoring  single in the top of the 11th inning to make the score 5-4, Steelheads. For the game, López went 2 for 5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"We did enough to win," said López.
