Warhawks Turn Back Minnesota, 6-4
<Minnesota:team#5> first baseman <Curt Palácios:player#4582> had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-4, to <Illinois:team#74> at Todd Berry Memorial Field. Palácios went 3 for 3 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. <Juan Sosa:player#11660> got the win, improving to 2-6. He worked 7 innings, giving up 4 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 4. The Warhawks  now have a record of 27-36.

<Ron Schneider:player#9082>  contributed to the Illinois win with a 2-run  home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Schneider.
