League Suspends Monteverde
Shortly after yesterday's Berserkers-Goats game ended, <José Monteverde:player#5872>'s on-field tantrum seemed almost comical. In response to being ejected for questioning a called third strike, the <Wisconsin:team#184> shortstop tossed his hat to the dirt and kicked it repeatedly. He couldn't help but laugh at himself and his over-the-top, hat-kicking, anger-laced tirade.

"It was funny," <Monteverde:player#5872> said. "I was hoping I could kick it all the way to the dugout."

The umpiring crew, however, didn't find it funny and neither did the league. Though Monteverde said he did not think his actions warranted a suspension, he will miss 2 games.

<Monteverde:player#5872> is currently hitting at a .219 pace with 3 home runs, 23 RBIs and has scored 30 times.
