Freddy López Out for 12-13 Months
The <Georgia Titans:team#94> were dealt a severe blow when <Freddy López:player#2869> was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the <Idaho Steelheads:team#92>. After the game, the team trainer reported <López:player#2869> might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 25-year-old closer out for the rest of the season with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. They indicated it would take <López:player#2869> at least 12-13 months to heal.

This year <Georgia:team#94> reliever <López:player#2869> has made 37 relief appearances and has 15 saves. His record is 3-8 with 57 strikeouts in 42.2 innings and a 4.64 ERA.
