Potvin Goes on Rampage Against Eagles
<Toronto Blue Jays:team#22> second baseman <Gary Potvin:player#4901> had a day to remember at Toronto Field today, ripping apart the <Wilmington Eagles:team#24> and sparking the Blue Jays to a 3-2 victory.

Potvin wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-5. 

"I'm usually a first ball hitter," <Potvin:player#4901> told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it."
