Victory Pushes Twin Towers Record to 13-12
<New York Twin Towers:team#78> starter <Stan Butler:player#3475> was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the <Ontario Blue Pirates:team#77>, 5-2. In 7 innings, Butler surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 2 and  walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. <António Vásquez:player#7034> recorded his 3rd save for New York.

New York used the bat of <Billy Byrd:player#6730> to get the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run  home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Twin Towers ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Byrd told the New York Bulletin.

The Blue Pirates drop to 12-13 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2054 season.
