Juan Altagracia Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year
The doctors have spoken and <Juan Altagracia:player#8396> of the <Raleigh Explorers:team#17> didn't like what he heard. The 23-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Altagracia sustained his season-ending injury during the <Glendale Cobras:team#16> game yesterday at Raleigh Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the <Raleigh:team#17> medical staff reported <Altagracia:player#8396> had a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 13-14 months.

His record this season is 1-1 in 5 starts and <Altagracia:player#8396> has a 6.20 ERA.
