Railroaders Come Up Short at Ontario
<Orlando Miranda:player#4919> did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the <Pennsylvania Railroaders:team#4> from losing, 5-4, to the <Ontario Blue Pirates:team#77> at Farmers Market Stadium. Miranda was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles,  and a walk, while scoring 3 times. The win was credited to <Raoul Reugebrink:player#8926> in relief. His record improves to 2-0. <David Fajardo:player#4032> took the loss. <Ken Daniels:player#1130> earned the save for Ontario, his 6th of the year.

<Jorge Martínez:player#1457> drove in one run for Ontario. The seven-time Best Defender Award winner  had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring  sacrifice fly off <Donnie Makanamaikai:player#3765>. It was his 9th RBI of the season.

"I was a little disappointed," said Pennsylvania manager <Jacob Wallendal:manager#77>. "We could've and should've scored more runs."

Ontario has a mark of 10-9 after the win.
