Warhawks Walk Off with Win
The <Illinois Warhawks:team#74> topped the <New York Twin Towers:team#78> by the score of 6-5, with the largest share of the credit going to first baseman <Eric Rigsby:player#4954>. Rigsby went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Warhawks. <Norogumi Ueno:player#8014> got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. The Twin Towers fall to 7-9 and continue their uneven start to the 2054 season.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher <Jay Langille:player#9885> came to bat in the bottom of the tenth. Facing New York pitcher <Tony Faulkner:player#11317>, he hit a first pitch sinker for a run-scoring  single. It was a game-changer, putting Illinois on top, 6-5.
