Nicholson 5-6 for River Bandits
Players get multihit games all the time. But a 5-hit game comes around only once in a blue moon. It happened at El Sombrero when <Andy Nicholson:player#2699> of <Memphis:team#104> scattered 5 hits all over the ballpark against the <Cooperstown Greats:team#36>. He walloped 5 hits in 6 at-bats in his career-day performance to help the River Bandits get by the Greats 15-9. In a talkative and jovial mood after the game, the first baseman of the River Bandits said, "Whoa, my swing was really, really there today. I made some good, sweet-spot contact and when that happens... good things happen... like 5-6. I could get used to a lot of days like this one." <Andy Nicholson:player#2699> hit an RBI double in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off <Bob Morris:player#722> in the 8th.

This year <Nicholson:player#2699> is hitting .325, produced 70 RBIs and 19 home runs, scored 65 times and gotten on base at a .404 rate.
