Bridegrooms Lose, 7-2, at Farmers Market Stadium
It was a fun time at Farmers Market Stadium, where the <Maryland Bridegrooms:team#76> and <Ontario Blue Pirates:team#77> tangled.

The <Ontario Blue Pirates:team#77> downed the <Maryland Bridegrooms:team#76>, 7-2, at Farmers Market Stadium. The Blue Pirates were led by <Johnathan Coker:player#1935>, who captured player of the game honors. He was 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. <Wilfred Bradshaw:player#3639>, the winner, improved to 11-9. He held Maryland to 1 earned run on 4 hits over 6 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts.

<Jorge Martínez:player#1457> was a prime contributor to the Ontario win. He went 1-4 with a double. In the bottom of the seventh with two out, the seven-time Best Defender Award winner  hit a run-scoring double. It made the score 3-1, in favor of the Blue Pirates.

"First place," said Blue Pirates manager  . "This is right where we want to be."

The first-place Blue Pirates, at 88-61, now lead their division by 4½ games.
