Warhawks Trip Mallards in Extras
The <Illinois Warhawks:team#74> electrified Todd Berry Memorial Field with a thrilling, walk-off win.

The <Minnesota Mallards:team#5> got a superb performance from center fielder <Tony Louate:player#6013>, but the <Illinois Warhawks:team#74> still won the game, 7-6. Louate was named the player of the game despite the loss. He was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double,  and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Mallards, at 57-91, have lost 12 in a row.

The Warhawks got a big boost from first baseman <Eric Rigsby:player#4954> who had a solo  home run in the bottom of the 13th inning off Mallards hurler <Chris Faught:player#10136>. It was his 61st home run of the season and put Illinois on top, 7-6.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant <Paul Nicholls:manager#44>, the Illinois manager.
