Blue Pirates Subdue New Jersey, 4-3
<Ontario:team#77> and <New Jersey:team#80> duked it out at Johnson & Johnson Field and the Blue Pirates came out victorious.

<Ontario Blue Pirates:team#77> starter <Hoon Yi:player#2803> pitched a strong game against the <New Jersey Athletics:team#80> at Johnson & Johnson Field, leading the Blue Pirates to a 4-3 win. Yi, now 10-9, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 5, walking 0, and allowing 1 earned run. <Ken Daniels:player#1130> was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 39 of 46 save opportunities.

Ontario used the timely hitting of <Duri Al Gahary:player#9058> to capture the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run  double in the top of the third inning to put the Blue Pirates on top, 4-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Yi.

Ontario has run its win streak to 4 in a row.
