Season Over for Pat Keddy in St. Louis
The doctors have spoken and <Pat Keddy:player#8581> of the <St. Louis Sportsman:team#10> didn't like what he heard. The 23-year-old closer is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Keddy sustained his season-ending injury during the <Idaho Falls Rapids:team#99> game yesterday at Sportsman Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the <St. Louis:team#10> medical staff reported <Keddy:player#8581> had a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 9 months.

<Keddy:player#8581> has collected 27 saves for the year with 34 strikeouts and 12 walks in 45.2 innings while registering a 2.56 ERA and a 3-5 won-lost record.
