Green Sox Snap Rodríguez's Streak at 22
Late in the game, all eyes in Crabpots Field were on <Dan Rodríguez:player#723> as he stepped into the batter box. His 22-game hitting streak was on the line, and he had a zero in the hit column on the day. Sadly for Rodríguez, it was not meant to be -- the zero would stay and the streak would end.

If there was a silver lining for Rodríguez today, it was that his <Ocean City Crabpots:team#25> won the game anyway, stopping the <Greensboro Green Sox:team#40> by the score of 7-3.

"Winning took some of the disappointment out of it," <Rodríguez:player#723> told reporters in the clubhouse. "Looking back on it, it was a great experience. Not too many players can say they had a hit in 22 straight games. It's something I will always remember."

To date this season <Rodríguez:player#723> is hitting .261 with 3 home runs.
