Thompson Belts 3 HR Against Idaho
<Colorado Bears:team#2> first baseman <Ken Thompson:player#8167> had a magnificent game against the <Idaho Steelheads:team#92> today, rocketing three balls out of Mountain View Ballpark to help the Bears take the 6-5 victory.

"I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes."

For the game, Thompson went 3-for-5 with 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored.

"There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Colorado manager   said later. "Seems like Ken found his home run stroke today."

<Ken Thompson:player#8167> struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off <Chris Ashley:player#615> in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off <Phil Dunham:player#1340> in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off <Juan Maldonado:player#17> in the 10th.
