League Rules González Out 4 Games
The suspension of catcher <Jorge González:player#11415> did not sit well with the <Pittsburgh Crawfords:team#23>. Both González and his manager were livid at what both say is an unjustified 4-game suspension issued today by league officials. González was suspended for "inappropriate conduct" during a game against the <Annapolis Destroyers:team#12> yesterday at Crawfords Field.

González was ejected from the game for arguing a strike call. "It's not right," he said, adding, "I didn't do anything to deserve this. Eject me, but don't suspend me."

His manager also vented his displeasure. "Arguments go on all the time, face-to-face, and there's not a suspension. To be suspended is ridiculous. That's bull."

González did more than just argue the call, he threw his bat at the feet of the umpire and walked off the field. That is the main reason the league suspended him.

For the year <González:player#11415> has hit .313 with 6 home runs, 37 RBIs and scored 33 runs.
