Garza Slaps 5 Hits
<Flagstaff:team#30> center fielder <Jesús Garza:player#3951> added his name to the record books with a 5-hit spree at Venom Field today, but found his special moment spoiled when the <El Paso Express:team#29> took a shootout win over the Venom.

"I would have much preferred getting only a couple of hits and winning the game," he confessed to reporters afterward. "It's hard to go back into the clubhouse and celebrate a 5-hit game when you also lost." 

Venom skipper   called Garza's game "a once-in-a-lifetime moment."

"It's a shame the guy can't really enjoy it," he said. "It's also a shame what happened with our pitching today, but at least that we can try to fix."

<Jesús Garza:player#3951> singled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, was hit by a pitch in the 7th, doubled in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and grounded out in the 10th.

<Garza:player#3951> is presently hitting at a .307 pace with 10 home runs and 59 RBIs. He has played in 112 games and scored 98 times.
